Melowsyne UNIPESSOAL LDA is a company established in Portugal. Contact Form
When you use the contact form, we process your message, email address, and phone number exclusively to handle your inquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject).
Page View Logging
Each time a page is accessed, your browser transmits the page address to our server. Server-side, the IP address, requested page, timestamp and browser identifier (user agent) are processed to generate an internal daily report and to distinguish automated access (search engines, AI crawlers) from visitors. In addition, the website itself reports to our own server the domain of the referring website (referrer), the time spent on a page, how far the page was scrolled and technical loading-performance values (Core Web Vitals); these values contain no personal identifiers and serve solely to improve the website. Country, city and network operator are determined exclusively on our own server using the locally stored DB-IP Lite database; in addition, the host name registered for the IP address is looked up via reverse DNS. The IP address is not transmitted to any external geolocation service. No tracking cookies are set. All data is deleted daily at 20:00 Lisbon time. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in website analytics and security).
Cookies and Local Storage
This website does not use cookies. Your chosen language is stored locally in your browser (local storage, key "lang") so that the site is displayed in your language on your next visit. This storage is strictly necessary to provide the service you requested and does not enable tracking (Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive, Art. 5 of Law No. 41/2004 of 18 August). You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
3. Retention
Contact data is stored until your inquiry is fully resolved; the copy held on the web server is deleted after 90 days at the latest. Technical anti-spam data is deleted after 90 days at the latest. Visit log data (IP address, host name, page, timestamp, user agent, referrer, time on page, scroll depth, loading-performance values) is deleted daily at 20:00 Lisbon time; the maximum retention period is 24 hours, or 26 hours if delivery of the daily report fails.
4. Recipients and Third Parties
Your data is not passed on to third parties. Website visitors are geolocated exclusively on our own server using the DB-IP Lite database (IP Geolocation by DB-IP, db-ip.com, licensed under CC BY 4.0); no data is transmitted to the database provider.
